RATES

I am currently accepting clients from all over Ontario as sessions take place virtually via a secure platform.

For information about my therapy rates, please feel free to reach out directly, and I’ll be happy to provide details.

I do not bill directly to insurance, but Registered Social Workers are often covered by private insurance or workplace benefits. I highly recommend checking in to better understand your coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I work with teens, young adults, and parents across Toronto, the GTA, and all of Ontario through virtual therapy.

While my focus is on teens and young adults, I am open to working with individuals outside of this age range if it feels like a good fit for both of us. If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to reach out and we can discuss your needs.

  • I focus on self-esteem, relationships, and identity challenges.

    This can look like:

    • Teens struggling with confidence or peer relationships

    • Young adults navigating dating, friendships, or academic pressure

    • Ongoing anxiety or low mood

    • Difficulty setting boundaries

    • Repeating unhealthy relationship patterns

    • Feeling disconnected from yourself or unsure of who you are

Rather than only addressing symptoms, we explore the deeper relational patterns shaping how you see yourself and others.

  • My work is grounded in psychodynamic therapy and relational therapy.

This means we explore how early experiences and important relationships have shaped your sense of self, your confidence, and the way you connect today.

Therapy with me is collaborative and conversational. I’m not here to “fix” you or offer quick strategies. We look at patterns together — gently and thoughtfully — so change feels meaningful and lasting.

  • Teens can expect a space that feels respectful and real.

Sessions are conversational and paced according to what feels comfortable. I work to create an environment where teens feel understood — not judged, corrected, or analyzed.

The goal isn’t to change who they are. It’s to help them better understand themselves and feel more confident navigating friendships, dating, school, and family dynamics.

  • When working with teens, I often include parent support or coaching sessions.

    Parent sessions may focus on:

    • Strengthening communication

    • Reducing conflict at home

    • Understanding your teen’s emotional world

    • Supporting healthy self-esteem and identity development

Supporting a teen also means supporting the parent. You don’t have to navigate this alone.

  • Yes — confidentiality is an important part of therapy.

Teens need privacy to feel safe opening up. At the same time, parents deserve clarity around how therapy works. I explain confidentiality clearly in our first session so everyone understands expectations and boundaries.

  • Yes. I provide online therapy for teens and young adults across Ontario, including Toronto and the GTA.

Virtual sessions offer flexibility while still creating a meaningful and connected therapeutic space.

  • There’s no fixed timeline.

Some clients come for short-term therapy focused on a specific concern. Others choose longer-term therapy to explore deeper identity and relational patterns.

We regularly check in about your goals and progress.

  • You can contact me through the form on therapyyourway.ca to book a consultation. We’ll briefly connect to discuss what you’re looking for and determine whether it feels like the right next step.
