SAMANTHA

Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist

Licensed to Practice in Ontario

Hi, I’m Samantha Miranda and I am a Registered Social Worker. I received a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Level I & II.

Finding the right therapist can be challenging. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of effective therapy. Feeling comfortable and connected with your therapist is crucial for your progress. In my private practice, I primarily work with teens and adults, focusing on issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and relationships. I personally relate to these issues, which many of my clients find reassuring and valuable.

I also support parents of pre-teens and teens through parent support sessions to help parents gain insights into their child’s behaviour and needs and discover parenting strategies that promote their child’s emotional, social, and academic success.

Before entering the private practice world, I worked in various community mental health settings and nonprofit agencies with children, teens, and adults.

I’m so glad you found my page!
